Here’s one experiment again. I spotted the fun technique from YouTube. The video showed how to paint the stunning patterns that appear on the surface of the stones. (Sorry, but I have no idea where that video went.)
First I primed the fiberboard white. After it was dry, I sketched with soft pencil to found those rock-like shapes. After lots of round shapes I took the perfect color palette and started to pain large lines over the edges. I chose grey, brown and green tones because because I wanted to create the feeling of algae-stained rocks at the bottom of the sea.
Let’s see how this one turns out. Hopefully I have time an passion to to continue this work in the near future, so that I can publish a new progress report.
